NATURAL & VEGAN - EFFECTIVE BIODEGRADABLE
Ensuring a better future involves protecting our skin
We avoid potentially toxic chemicals that are in contact with our skin, directly or indirectly on all surfaces we touch or in the air we breathe. We are vegan, at least 98% of natural origin (measured by ISO:16128 standard). All our bath products have a biodegradability rate of over 96% (except 92% for conditioners) and are reef-safe. Special care is given to pamper your skin with delightful textures and fragrances.
OUR FORMULATION CRITERIA

Our formulas are rooted in green chemistry principles, containing over 98% ingredients of natural origin (according to ISO 16128). We prioritize recycled plant-based materials and surplus from the food supply chain, locally sourced and produced whenever possible.
All ingredients are selected based on their environmental safety, biodegradability, and traceability. When a synthetic or nature-identical alternative proves to be safer and less harmful to the environment than its natural counterpart, we deliberately choose the more sustainable option—because true responsibility goes beyond origin

SOAP BASES
Our cleaning products utilize mild, biodegradable surfactants that effectively remove dirt and grease without harming the natural oils that protect the skin. All our bath products have a biodegradability rate of over 92% (at least 96% for shower gels, 97% for body lotions, and 92% for conditioners) and are reef-safe, ensuring that your personal care routines are planet-friendly.

& ANIMAL FRIENDLY
We are 100% vegan and committed to animal welfare. You won't find any animal-derived ingredients in our products. Aligned with our cruelty-free values and as a European brand, we do not conduct animal testing by law, and furthermore, we do not export to countries where it's mandatory.

DEVELOPED UNDER KID’S CRITERIA
The strict safety criteria that regulate cosmetic products intended for babies set our standard; if it's good for babies and pets, it's safe for the entire family. But we go even further: we avoid substances that, while permitted, might harm the environment or have caused controversy in the scientific community due to their potential negative effects on health.

Our products contain less water than usual. This means you can use less product to achieve results, doubling their longevity. Additionally, by purchasing more concentrated products, you're contributing to a more sustainable environment.

GENTLER ON THE SKIN AND BIODEGRADABLE
At The Today Project, we use Secondary surfactants that are gentler on the skin than primary surfactants. They effectively remove dirt and grease without harming the natural oils that protect the skin. Additionally, being derived from coconut, these surfactants a respespectful of aquatic ecosystems, ensuring that personal care routines a planet-friendly.

THE INGREDIENTS WE AVOID
At The Today Project, true innovation begins with conscious limits.
Following the ISO 16128 standard, we prioritise natural origin, biodegradability, and traceability, and apply the precautionary principle — excluding any substance with potential cumulative toxicity, environmental persistence, bioaccumulation, or endocrine disruption, even when legally permitted.
Our policy also extends to fragrance, where we restrict our palette to avoid sensitizers and endocrine disruptors.
EUROPEAN CHEMICAL AGENCY
Beyond retailer lists, we closely track the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) and act before regulation requires it.
If it raises questions, we leave it out. If it doesn’t respect the skin or the planet, it doesn’t enter our lab.

When it comes to active ingredients, we only work with those that are thoroughly proven to deliver results. Backed by extensive scientific literature and real-world performance, our actives are carefully selected for their high efficacy and low irritation potential. From plant extracts to peptides and biotechnological innovations, we choose each ingredient for its ability to perform—prioritizing what works, always. Our first filter is effectiveness; our second, environmental impact.
CLEANSING BASES
When it comes to surfactants, we use only the cleanest—strictly secondary surfactants with no ethoxylation, no risk of nitrosamine formation, and no primary aggressive agents. Our formulas deliver rich, creamy foam comparable to traditional soaps, but with a much gentler profile—ideal for sensitive skin. Designed for the whole family, our cleansing bases are safe, effective, and suitable even for color-treated or chemically smoothed hair.
