ECOHES OF LIGHT is the first high-perfumery collection by The Today Project, an olfactive project curated by Paola Gugliotta, with over 20 years of research at the intersection of science, skin, and emotion.

It is not just a sustainable collection. It’s a new olfactory narrative that merges art, beauty, and awareness—a contemporary language that reinterprets light as emotion, guided by strict environmental and human health safety standards.

OUR ETHOS

    • Developed in close collaboration with experienced perfumers from leading fragrance houses, each composition is shaped under the creative direction of Paola Gugliotta, who brings a sensorial and conceptual approach to modern perfumery.

  • Our perfumes are formulated under a strict standard of safety, ethics, and traceability:

    • Free from ingredients classified as potential CMR of restricted use (Annex II European Cosmetic Legislation) or listed on the ECHA SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern) list.

    • No animal-derived ingredients or environmentally damaging extraction methods.

    • No bioaccumulative or persistent substances.

    • Ingredients certified Cradle to Cradle.

    • Supported by the Catalan Waste Agency for the development of formulas free from CMR 2 and SVHC substances.

  • Our packaging follows true circular economy principles:

    • Refillable and 100% recyclable glass bottles.

    • FSC-certified wooden cap with a natural cork interior—no plastic, no synthetic adhesives.

    • Plastic-free, cellophane-free boxes, fully recyclable and biodegradable.

    • Eco-printing without metallic stamping.

    • All materials are FSC-certified and designed for a second life.

  • We don’t define our scents as “natural” or “synthetic,” but as clean, safe, and responsible. We use natural-origin, lab-made, and nature-identical molecules — all meeting strict safety, biodegradability, and traceability standards.

  • We exclude any substance identified or suspected as an endocrine disruptor under ECHA and REACH regulations. Safety is verified before every formula reaches you.

  • No. Our formulas and packaging are 100% phthalate-free and meet zero-toxicity criteria for skin and environment.

  • It’s not about being “synthetic” — it’s about safety. Every molecule, natural or lab-made, is selected under strict dermatological and eco-toxicological standards.

  • Simply unscrew the cap, remove the pump, and pour in the refill using the included funnel. The screw system allows easy, spill-free refills and extends your bottle’s life.

  • None. The bottle is refillable glass, the cap is FSC-certified wood with a natural cork interior, and the box is plastic-free, recyclable, and biodegradable.
