2. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device when a website is visited. The Website may also use local storage, session storage, pixels, tags and similar technologies. 4. Legal basis and consent

Strictly necessary cookies are used because they are required to provide the Website or a service expressly requested by the user. All other cookies and similar technologies are used on the basis of the user’s consent where required by Article 22.2 LSSI-CE and the GDPR.

On the first visit, the cookie banner must offer Accept all, Reject all and Manage preferences with equivalent prominence and ease of use. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not prevent access to the Website’s basic functions or the ability to purchase products.

Consent may be changed or withdrawn at any time through the permanent Manage cookies link in the Website footer. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing but prevents future placement or access to non-essential cookies covered by that choice.

Google Tag Manager is a tag-management tool and does not, by itself, determine the cookies used. Every tag deployed through it must be included in the relevant category and prevented from firing before valid consent where consent is required.

No statement such as “third-party cookies: not used” should be published while Squarespace Analytics, Google Analytics, Weglot or other third-party services are enabled.

7. Browser controls

In addition to the Website’s Manage cookies control, users may delete or block cookies through their browser settings. Browser controls do not replace the Website’s obligation to obtain consent before using non-essential cookies.

Blocking all browser storage may affect shopping-cart, login, checkout, language or security functions.
