No fixed collections or seasonal rules—only a growing library of distinctive compositions, united by formulation science and refillable design.

At The Today Project, perfume is developed as a complete system: olfactive creation with renowned perfumers, formulation science through a deliberately restricted palette, and refillable design made for permanence.
Our restrictions are part of the creative brief—proof that technical rigour can expand, rather than limit, olfactive expression.
FORMULATION SCIENCE
Every fragrance is developed through our Beauty of Restriction standard. From the beginning, the perfumer works with a deliberately limited palette that excludes CMR 1A, 1B and 2 substances, SVHCs, DEP, polycyclic musks and other materials of concern. Technical restriction becomes part of the creative process, not an adjustment made afterwards.

Creative direction by Paola Gugliotta, with compositions developed alongside renowned perfumers including Mark Buxton, Marc Daniel Heimgartner and Urs Castelletti. Each fragrance begins with an independent olfactive idea—not with a trend, a category or a marketing template.

REFILLABLE DESIGN
The composition and the object are conceived together. Refillable glass, a removable pump, FSC-certified wood, natural cork and plastic-free secondary packaging create a bottle designed for permanence—made to be used, refilled and kept.

It’s a romantic story written in the aromatic notes of nature, where seductive, creamy tuberose meets the radiant sweetness of orange blossom and jasmine, all grounded in the deep warmth of amber woods and musk.

Each fragrance is crafted with consciously selected clean molecules: free from phthalates, CMR substances, SVHC, and excluded from the French precautionary watch lists.

Geranium, Lemon, Petitgrain, Neroli, Fresh Musk, Cedarwood
The essence of the serenity of a perfect day, where the vibrant freshness of lemon, petitgrain, and Madagascar geranium merges with citrusy and floral neroli and fresh marine accords.
At the base, fresh musks deliver a sense of purity, while cedar adds a warm, enveloping touch.
Amaretto, Coffee, Almond, Caramel, Vanilla, Tonka Bean
A golden Tuscan summer where almond warmth and amaretto sweetness melt into light. Almond Sunshine is born from summers in Tuscany—long, warm afternoons where time seemed to slow down. Gathered around the table, desserts would arrive… followed by sweet liqueurs. The scent of amaretto—rich, enveloping, slightly toasted—became a lasting memory.
Cardamom, Bergamot, Guaiac Wood, Patchouli, Creamy Musk
Spicy cardamom, fresh green leaves, and bright Calabria bergamot create a vibrant opening, evoking the first whispers of dusk. Its luminous heart of green violet leaves, aquatic notes, and sweet fig adds a delicate balance of freshness and sweetness, reminiscent of nature at its most serene. Finally, a warm base of guaiac wood, earthy patchouli, and creamy musk envelops you in a refined and captivating finish.
Coconut Milk, Tonka Bean, Vanilla Pods, Sandalwood, Cedarwood
From the very first moment, notes of coffee, juicy plum, and coconut milk awaken the senses, evoking a sun-drenched landscape. At its heart, a comforting blend of cinnamon bark, tonka bean, vanilla, and sandalwood recalls the softness of Monoi and the tiaré flower.
Orange, Fig, Fig Milk, White Musk, Driftwood, Sandalwood

We use a considered combination of natural-origin, nature-identical and synthetic aroma materials. Each material is selected for its olfactive performance, safety profile, traceability and environmental considerations—not simply for whether it is natural or synthetic.

We work with our Beauty of Restriction Standards : our internal formulation standard excludes CMR 1A, 1B and 2 substances, SVHCs, DEP, polycyclic musks and other materials of concern. It also applies additional precautionary screening to substances identified as potential endocrine disruptors by relevant European authorities.

No. Our fragrance formulas are developed without DEP or other phthalates.

It’s not about being “synthetic” — it’s about safety. Every molecule, natural or lab-made, is selected under strict dermatological and eco-toxicological standards.

Unscrew the pump and pour the fragrance refill into the glass bottle using the supplied funnel. The removable system allows the bottle and pump to be kept and reused.

The bottle is made from refillable glass, with an FSC-certified wooden cap and natural cork interior. The secondary packaging is plastic-free. Some functional components inside the reusable pump may require technical materials, but they are designed to be kept rather than discarded with every refill.
